The Gallery & Retail Assistant is an identified, frontline role responsible for assisting with daily gallery operations, customer service, retail sales, bookings, and public programming. The role also supports the Art Centre Manager with artwork cataloguing, packing and sending artworks, and exhibition-related duties.
This position plays a key part in welcoming visitors, supporting artists, and helping deliver a vibrant and culturally strong visitor experience at Nyinkka Nyunyu.
Studio Assistant - Casual

The Studio Assistant is a casual position supporting the day-to-day operations of the visual arts studio and gallery at Nyinkka Nyunyu Art & Culture Centre.
Working under the supervision of the Art Centre Manager, the Studio Assistant assists with preparing arts materials, supporting artists, handling and packing artworks, cataloguing, and contributing to exhibition installation.
This role works closely with the Art Centre Manager and Gallery & Retail Assistants to ensure the studio and gallery operate safely, efficiently and professionally.
The position is suited to someone practical and reliable, with interested in visual arts, who is keen to contribute to a culturally strong and vibrant art centre.
